Preventing Dry And Brittle Trees

Droughts and a huge lack of water will lead to dry and brittle trees. The stress from droughts causes the tree and it’s roots to literally dry up. This is one of the worst things that can happen to a tree.

It’s important to note that water is the life essence of any tree. If a tree’s roots or canopy can’t absorb water, it will cease to grow and function. This will eventually lead to death and your tree potentially collapsing.

The best advice we could give you is to give us or another tree care company a call to assess the situation. Watering in addition to monitoring would probably be the standard scenario. When there are areas in which trees aren’t getting the necessary amount of water, irrigation systems may need to be put in place or manual watering in order to keep trees healthy.
